Salsa and Jelly

The opportunity to add to my site has been at a stand still, since the garden has been over active this month. I have been giving away tomatoes since almost all of my canning jays are filled with salsa, pasta sauce, stewed tomatoes and homemade catsup!

Not a complaint, but the peppers are just about as crazy. They make the salsa wonderful, the hot jelly out of this world as well as making a great pepper relish.

Onions are all stored or used, Lettuce is still happy, Corn is frozen and off of the cob. Green beans still think that I need more, Carrots are till in the ground, however the raspberries took a break this season. Watermelon and cantaloupe are slow, so I just look at them daily!

Adding to my winter supply of food always inspires me to rearrange the storage space, which leads to rearranging several rooms and doing the "Spring Cleaning"!

No, I am not late with the spring cleaning -- I just have a jump on next spring!
