Fantasy Birds

Whimsical hand-crafted fantasy birds to be enjoyed fill this gallery. Most bird bodies are carved out of styrofoam while some are made of wood and other found materials. They incorporate many different mediums that suggest to me who they are to become.   These birds have sent me on some pretty wild goose chases to find parts that will enhance an idea, second hand stores, tool sheds and implement shops, but all in all they are a delight to make and to sell.
